Pre-clinical studies demonstrate that Collymer materials exhibit an uncommon mode of action, providing a long-lasting and physically-stable scaffold that supports site-appropriate tissue integration and new tissue formation, avoiding inflammation, fibrosis, and scarring. Potential material applications extend from regenerative tissue replacements (including soft tissue, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and orthopedic) to delivery of pharmaceutical and cell-based therapies and to sensor/device coatings.
